Autumn Chiffon™ Encore® Azalea (Azalea x ‘Robled’ PP#16278) is a compact, evergreen shrub that produces soft pink, bi-color blooms accented with deeper pink freckles. Flowers appear in spring and rebloom through summer and fall, attracting butterflies and adding long-lasting beauty to the landscape. The glossy evergreen foliage provides year-round interest, making this azalea a reliable choice for containers, borders, or as a standout specimen in the garden.
Autumn Chiffon Encore Azalea Care
Azaleas grow best in acidic, well-drained soil. Amend with organic matter or chelated iron if needed to maintain soil health and pH balance. Water regularly until the shrub is well established, then provide even moisture during dry periods. Fertilize in late winter or early spring with a slow-release fertilizer formulated for acid-loving plants to support new growth and flower production. Prune lightly after the first bloom cycle in spring to shape the plant and encourage reblooming. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and regulate soil temperature.
