The Cranberry Creek Boxwood, or Buxus Cranberry Creek, provides year-round color and requires little care once it is settled. Dark green foliage has a glossy, lustrous finish, and while the leaves are small and rounded, each branch is covered, creating a full look. The foliage may develop a bronzy hue in the winter before returning to bright, vivid green by spring. This shrub has a naturally pyramidal form, but it responds well to pruning, so it can easily fit into the look and feel of your yard. Grow the Cranberry Creek Boxwood as a perennial in zones 4 through 8.
The Cranberry Creek Boxwood prefers full sun but can handle some shade. Plant this leafy shrub in a spot that receives at least six hours of sunlight.
