Holiday Soft Serve® Gold False Cypress Care

Keep the plant near a well-lit window from January through early spring, watering sparingly when the top inch of soil becomes slightly dry. If indoor heating creates a lot of dryness, lightly mist the foliage every so often. Rotate the container weekly so that all sides receive some light, encouraging balanced growth.

After winter’s chill subsides, gradually move your cypress outdoors over a week, giving it partial shade at first before selecting a sunny or partly shaded site. Dig a hole about twice the width of its root ball and place the shrub so the top of the root ball is even with the surrounding soil.
