Variegated Liriope (Liriope muscari ‘Variegata’), also known as Variegated Lilyturf, is a versatile, grass-like perennial with bright creamy yellow stripes along the edges of its foliage. In late summer, light purple flowers emerge, tucked among the blades, adding subtle color and texture.
Evergreen in warmer climates, this low-maintenance plant is drought tolerant and resistant to deer and rabbits, making it an excellent choice for borders, groundcovers, and container plantings.
Variegated Liriope Care
Plant in well-drained soil and water regularly until established. Cut back foliage to the ground in late winter to early spring to encourage fresh growth. Performs well in full sun to part shade and is adaptable to a variety of garden conditions.

For a grassy groundcover, space plants 18 inches apart on-center. For use as an accent or specimen plant, allow at least 24 inches between plants.
