Autumn Embers™ Encore® Azalea combines beauty and reliability with minimal maintenance, making it a great choice for both beginning and experienced gardeners. Its glossy green foliage adds year-round interest, complementing the vivid blooms and enhancing the overall landscape.
Autumn Embers™ Encore® Azalea Care
Water regularly during the establishment period to promote strong root growth. Azaleas perform best in acidic, well-drained soil, which can be amended with chelated iron if necessary. Fertilize in late winter or early spring to support healthy growth and enhance flowering. Prune lightly after the first bloom in spring to shape the plant and encourage new growth.
Autumn Embers™ Encore® Azalea Growth & Spacing
This azalea typically grows 3–4 feet tall and wide at maturity. For shrub borders, space plants 5 feet apart on center. When establishing an informal hedge, space plants 4 feet apart on center for a dense, continuous appearance.
