The petals of the double cup-shaped flowers gently fold and overlap to give each large bloom a full and lush appearance. This perennial has a long blooming cycle, with the first flowers opening in spring and the last blooms of the season emerging in the fall.

Moonlight Romantica® Hybrid Tea Rose Care

Plant in moist, well-drained soil in full sunlight. New plants need to stay on a regular watering schedule. Established plants will need less-frequent care, but water when the top several inches of soil dry out. Hybrid Tea Roses are heavy feeders, so keep this plant going strong all season long by sticking to a consistent fertilization schedule. Feed this plant using a balanced fertilizer in the early spring, after the first flowers bloom, and for a final time near the end of July.

Deadhead this Tea Rose to encourage more prolific blooming. Prune this plant in early spring. Remove thin canes and trim thick canes by one-third to promote more growth and abundant blooming.

The Moonlight Romantica® Hybrid Tea Rose will grow 5 to 7 feet tall and 3 to 4 feet wide. While this cultivar is disease-resistant, leave enough space around shrubs to allow air to circulate. Plants can be spaced 4 feet apart to create a mass planting.
