Guide: How to Care for Your New Plant(s)

Plant Addicts Warranty - 1 Year (Extra Purchase Required)

We encourage all plant lovers to purchase the Plant Addicts Warranty, whether you're a new gardener or an expert. There are many variables outside of anyone's control that can cause a plant to die. Hungry animals, drought, poor soil conditions, over watering, diseases & pests are all good examples of what can cause plants to die. The Plant Addicts Warranty is a 1 year warranty protecting you from all of the unknowns and will replace your plant if something were to happen to it.

The warranty is purchased on a per plant basis and must be purchased at the same time as the plant(s). We will cover 100% of the price of the plant, but the warranty does not cover shipping costs. SImply let us know if your plant has died within 1 year of receiving it and we will get you a new one shipped out as soon as possible (depending on the time of the year and availability). We may ask for photos for documentation purposes, but we try to make the process as easy as possible.

Guarantee and Warranty

Plant Shipping

Below are some factors we consider when determining when to ship the plants depending on the timing of the order.

Winter to Early Spring

We ship only when it's warm enough to plant in your growing zone.
Sometimes plants aren't completely ready to sell and ship in early spring. We will wait until the plants are ready before shipping so you don't get a subpar product.
For Southern plants we will be able to ship much earlier than plants coming from our northern nursery.

Summer

If there is extreme heat we may delay shipping for a week or several weeks.
We review what areas the plants are traveling through as well as your location.

Fall into Winter

We’ll ship plants out all the way up to the end of the fall planting season!

Winter

Get your order in early to reserve your plants for Spring planting!

Once your plant is shipped you’ll receive an automated email with tracking information.

Plants Included In Rockin' Rush Annual Combination

Our leading lady in this superb annual combination is again the Superbena Whiteout. With its pure white bouquets of miniature florets and its uniquely textural unopened buds, Whiteout will wow you with nonstop blooming all summer and well into fall. When paired with Supertunia Raspberry Rush with its raspberry purple and white stripes, and the bright cheerful daisy-like flowers of Goldilocks Rocks Bidens, she creates a stunning variety of color and texture that will give you an adrenaline rush every time you see it on your porch or patio.

Raspberry Rush Supertunia and Whiteout Superbena are both new colors in the last few years and they quickly joined Goldilocks Rocks Bidens as award winning, top selling annuals. It is easy to see why. Improved heat tolerance and disease resistance are two benefits to these new hybrids. Rest assured you will not have problems with these improved varieties going to seed and ceasing their bloom time. As these are warm season bloomers, plant them out after the danger of the last frost and when overnight temperatures exceed 40 degrees. These ladies love the heat!

Rockin' Rush Annual Combination Care

In their native habitats, all three annuals grow in shrubby grasslands, in the hot sun, and with intermittent rain and dry periods. Soil conditions are typically well draining soil, slightly rocky at times. To recreate this habitat, plant in well draining soil that retains some moisture but is never soggy. Plant in full sun for best performance. Water when the top two inches of soil is dry but don’t let them wilt. Fertilize with a slow release fertilizer when initially planting and then follow up in about 2 months with weekly applications of a water soluble fertilizer for best results.

Space plants about 12 inches apart in a minimum 12 inch container when purchasing the 4 ¼ inch pot size plants to allow them room to grow. These are fast growers and they will quickly fill your container and cascade over the sides attractively. If purchasing additional quantities or the larger 8 inch pot size plants, consider using at least a 14 inch container. Deadheading is not required for these annuals as they will drop their spent flowers. You may want to prune, or shear them in mid summer to keep them from getting leggy. This promotes additional branching and subsequently more flowers.

Rockin' Rush Annual Combination Ideas

Do not limit yourself to using these just for patio or porch containers as these beautiful vigorous annuals make wonderful garden beds and landscape borders. With their superior disease resistance and heat tolerance, they will put on a show for you from spring until fall and attract hummingbirds and butterflies to your garden. Want an adrenaline rush every time you drive up to your home? Plant this beautiful annual combination this spring for a full season of color.
