The SunPatiens® Colorful Impatiens Collection provides consistent flowers in an array of colors from spring through fall. These prolific flowers appear in shades of deep magenta, bright pink, and a delicate pink that is almost white. The collection includes Impatiens x hybrida Compact Royal Magenta, Vigorous Pink Kiss, and Vigorous Shell Pink. Dark green foliage provides a lovely backdrop for the colorful flowers and features toothed edges for additional texture.

These Impatiens have a dense and mounded growth habit, creating a full appearance. Plant them together for a lovely and colorful mixed container, or feature them separately throughout a space for a coordinated look. Impatiens grow well in mixed beds and make a charming addition to borders. These adaptable plants can handle challenging summer climates while still looking fabulous.

SunPatiens® Colorful Impatiens Collection Care

Morning sun and afternoon shade is a good arrangement for the SunPatiens® Colorful Impatiens Collection. These plants can handle full sun but grow well in limited shade. Use moist, well-drained, and slightly acidic soil with increased organic content. Impatiens need water when the top layer of soil is dry. Bi-weekly doses of fertilizer keep the plants lush and blooming.

Keep the plants looking tidy with a mid-summer pruning. Remove overgrowth and cut the plant back by one-third. Pinch faded flowers to promote more branching and blooming.

The plants in this collection grow 14 to 28 inches tall and 14 to 24 inches wide. Grow three plants in a 16-inch wide container or space plants 14 to 24 inches apart in a landscape.
