How the Self-Watering System Works

1. Prepare Your Planter: Add the included LECHUZA-PON mineral drainage layer and your preferred potting medium.
2. Add Your Plants: Place flowers, herbs, or compact foliage plants into the removable planting liner.
3. Allow Roots to Establish: Water from above for approximately 2-3 weeks while roots grow toward the reservoir. Check moisture regularly during this period.
4. Transition to Self-Watering: Once roots have established, begin filling the reservoir according to LECHUZA's instructions. Use the water level indicator to monitor moisture.
5. Monitor and Refill: Allow an appropriate dry phase before refilling, based on your plant's needs and growing conditions.

Outdoor Use: Remove the drainage screw to allow excess rainwater to escape and help prevent water accumulation. Watering needs vary with sunlight, temperature, plant type, and seasonal conditions.
