Plant Addicts Warranty - 1 Year (Extra Purchase Required)

We encourage all plant lovers to purchase the Plant Addicts Warranty, whether you're a new gardener or an expert. There are many variables outside of anyone's control that can cause a plant to die. Hungry animals, drought, poor soil conditions, over watering, diseases & pests are all good examples of what can cause plants to die. The Plant Addicts Warranty is a 1 year warranty protecting you from all of the unknowns and will replace your plant if something were to happen to it.

The warranty is purchased on a per plant basis and must be purchased at the same time as the plant(s). We will cover 100% of the price of the plant, but the warranty does not cover shipping costs. SImply let us know if your plant has died within 1 year of receiving it and we will get you a new one shipped out as soon as possible (depending on the time of the year and availability). We may ask for photos for documentation purposes, but we try to make the process as easy as possible.

Guarantee and Warranty

Plant Shipping

Below are some factors we consider when determining when to ship the plants depending on the timing of the order.

Winter to Early Spring

We ship only when it's warm enough to plant in your growing zone.
Sometimes plants aren't completely ready to sell and ship in early spring. We will wait until the plants are ready before shipping so you don't get a subpar product.
For Southern plants we will be able to ship much earlier than plants coming from our northern nursery.

Summer

If there is extreme heat we may delay shipping for a week or several weeks.
We review what areas the plants are traveling through as well as your location.

Fall into Winter

We’ll ship plants out all the way up to the end of the fall planting season!

Winter

Plants Included In Beach Blanket Bingo Combination

This lovely combination of hybrid annuals will remind you of summers far and near with its color mix of bright reds, sunset yellows and pinks, and intense purple. Your favorite beach towel, remember? Ah yes, the ocean breezes, the smell of sea salt and tanning oil, and the warm rays of the sun...bring that home with you by creating this hanging basket or patio container filled with your favorite colors and memories.

Calibrachoa and petunia were once thought to be the same species of flower under the nightshade family, but it was discovered that although they are related they are separate species. The good news is this combination planter brings the best of these two flowers to you with similar growing needs. They are drought and heat tolerant. They will flower all season long from spring to fall until the first frost. Both species will produce trailing stems of at least 24 inches for a beautiful cascading appearance.

Beach Blanket Bingo Annual Combination Care

Both of these lovely annuals are very sensitive to having wet feet so good draining soil in a container that has drainage holes is a must have. When first planting, add some slow release fertilizer to the soil, followed by periodic water soluble fertilizer applications, as these annuals are heavy feeders. Water only when they feel dry in the first two inches of soil Full sun to part shade, 4 to 6 or more hours of sunlight, is required for the best production of flowers.

When planting the 4 ¼” quart size plants, use of a 12 inch planter is suggested. Larger plants will require larger containers, so plan accordingly. Space plants up to 12 inches apart. Once established the plants will quickly fill your planter or hanging basket with loads of colorful blooms. The spent blooms are self cleaning, so you do not have to deadhead them to have the plant produce more flowers. These are vigorous growers and will benefit from a quick shear once or twice in the growing season to help them look fuller and stay in their bounds.

Beach Blanket Bingo Annual Combination Ideas

Although specifically chosen for container gardening with the lovely combination of flower sizes and colors, this combination of petunias and calibrachoa also make a wonderful landscape display in your garden bed or border. Be sure to plant in a well draining soil for optimal plant health.
