Enjoy consistent color, even when the summertime temperature soars, with the Bloomify™ Orange Lantana. Small, trumpet-shaped blooms have flared ends. The individual flowers are tiny but grow in orb-shaped clusters, creating a bigger appearance. Flowers near the cluster's center are light apricot, while the outer flowers are a darker tangerine hue. The Lantana camara 'Baloomor' is sterile and continues to flower from spring through fall. Green leaves come to a point and fill in gaps between the flower clusters.

The rounded, upright growth habit and compact form of the Bloomify™ Orange Lantana make it a good pick for a mixed bed or border or as a filler in a container. Bees and hummingbirds feed on the dainty flowers, so include this beauty in a butterfly garden or near a vegetable garden to support pollinators. Lantana plants are heat tolerant, so this cultivar will hold up nicely and look fantastic in warm climates.

Bloomify™ Orange Lantana Care

Situate the Bloomify™ Orange Lantana in full sun to encourage a prolific bloom cycle. This plant craves rich, moist soil, but the soil must allow drainage. Keep the soil damp, but avoid soggy conditions. Apply a slow-release fertilizer annually each spring.

Prune the plant in mid-summer to remove overgrowth. Trim one-third of the growth to promote branching and another flush of flowers. Lantana is an annual in many areas, and the plant can be removed at the end of the growing season. When grown as a perennial, in zones 9 through 11, cut back growth hard in early spring. Avoid cutting back this plant in the fall before cold weather arrives.

Bloomify™ Orange Lantana Spacing

The Bloomify™ Orange Lantana is compact and grows 12 to 14 inches tall and 10 to 12 inches wide at maturity. Space landscape plants 10 to 12 inches apart, center on center. Potted plants need a 10-inch-wide container.
