Measurements and capacities are approximate. Both models have the same root space; the taller High model does not require additional potting soil.

Convenient Removable Planting Liner

CANTO Premium features a removable, color-neutral black planting liner with built-in carrying handles. Plant or repot on a work surface, then lower the liner into the decorative outer planter. Since the Low and High models use identical liners, you can move established plantings between both designs without repotting.

Helpful Tip: The removable liner also makes seasonal decorating and relocating plants easier.

How the Self-Watering System Works

1. Prepare Your Planter: Add the included LECHUZA-PON drainage substrate and a suitable growing medium according to the planting instructions.
2. Add Your Plant: Position the plant inside the removable liner and gently fill around its roots.
3. Establish the Roots: Water from above during the initial 2-3 weeks, checking the growing medium regularly for moisture.
4. Begin Reservoir Watering: Once the roots reach the reservoir, fill it halfway initially and check whether the water level decreases. Then follow LECHUZA's instructions for filling to the maximum level.
5. Allow a Dry Phase: Use the water level indicator and allow an appropriate dry period between refills based on your plant's needs.

Placement Tip: The premium lacquered finish is particularly attractive indoors or in protected outdoor locations. When using outdoors, open the drainage screw to allow excess rainwater to escape.

Want to move your planter for cleaning, rearranging, or seasonal decorating? CANTO Premium Low and High are compatible with an optional LECHUZA coaster designed to sit discreetly beneath the planter. A useful accessory for larger indoor plants.
