CANTO Slatestone Size Comparison

CANTO Slatestone is available in two widths and two heights. Low and High models of the same size have identical planting capacity and reservoir volume. Choose the High version for added decorative height, or size up from 30 to 40 for more growing space.

Dimensions and capacities are approximate. The Low and High designs of the same width use equivalent planting liners. The taller exterior does not provide additional root space.

How the Self-Watering System Works

1. Prepare Your Planter: Add the included LECHUZA-PON drainage substrate and an appropriate growing medium according to the manufacturer's planting instructions.
2. Add Your Plant: Position the plant in the removable liner and gently fill around the roots.
3. Establish the Roots: Water from above for approximately 2-3 weeks, checking moisture regularly while roots establish.
4. Begin Reservoir Watering: After establishment, fill the reservoir halfway initially. If the water level drops over the next few days, follow LECHUZA's instructions for filling to the maximum level.
5. Allow a Dry Phase: Monitor the water level indicator and allow an appropriate dry period before refilling, based on your plant's needs.

Outdoor Use: Remove the drainage screw to allow excess rainwater to escape. Watering frequency depends on plant type, sunlight, temperature, and weather.
