Bring soft, cheerful color to winter days with the Charming Amaryllis Kit. This variety opens elegant trumpet-shaped flowers in white washed with blush pink, creating a bright focal point on mantels, tables, and windowsills. The kit is simple to start and arrives with everything needed, making it an easy gift and a reliable way to add seasonal décor without extra work.
Charming performs well indoors in bright, indirect light at typical room temperatures. After planting, most kits bloom in about six to eight weeks, and each display lasts for weeks. Set the pot where you can enjoy it, water lightly as the top inch of mix dries, and rotate the container every few days so the stalk grows straight. Moving the plant slightly cooler once buds begin to open can extend the bloom time.

Simple growing instructions
Planting is straightforward. Hydrate the soil disc and fill the container about halfway. Place the bulb so the top third remains above the surface and backfill gently around it, leaving the neck exposed. Water just enough to settle the mix, then wait to increase watering until steady growth begins. Keep the mix slightly moist, never soggy, and avoid letting the bulb sit in standing water. Ideal conditions are 65–75°F in bright, indirect light; south or east windows generally work well.
After flowering, remove the spent flower stalk but keep the leaves so they can recharge the bulb. Continue watering when the top inch is dry and feed every two to three weeks with a balanced liquid fertilizer while foliage is green. If you’d like blooms again next holiday season, provide a rest period in late fall by reducing water and storing the bulb in a cool, dark place for eight to ten weeks before restarting in bright light.
This is a natural product, so bulb size and timing vary with the environment. For indoor display; keep away from heat vents and harsh, direct sun. Amaryllis is toxic if ingested, so place out of reach of pets and small children.
FAQs
What’s included and how do I get started?
The kit includes a Charming amaryllis bulb, a planting pot, and a compressed soil disc. Rehydrate the soil, set the bulb with its top third above the surface, water lightly, and place in bright, indirect light at normal room temperatures.
How long does it take to bloom, and how long do the flowers last?
Most plants bloom in about six to eight weeks, depending on warmth and light. Once open, the flowers typically last up to three weeks, and slightly cooler conditions can help extend the show.
How should I care for it to get the best results?
Provide bright, indirect light and begin with very light watering. As the stem elongates, keep the mix slightly moist and rotate the pot every few days so the stalk grows upright toward the light.
Can I make it rebloom next year?
Yes. After flowering, remove the spent stalk, keep the leaves growing in bright light, and water when the top inch is dry while feeding regularly. In late fall, rest the bulb for eight to ten weeks in a cool, dark spot with minimal water, then return it to bright light to begin a new cycle.
Is this a good gift for beginners?
It’s an excellent gift. The included components and simple steps make it easy for first-time growers, and the soft white-and-blush blooms offer a festive, feel-good display with minimal effort.
