How the Self-Watering System Works

1. Prepare Your Planter: Add the included LECHUZA-PON drainage substrate and an appropriate growing medium according to the planting instructions.
2. Add Your Plant: Place the plant into the removable liner and gently fill around its roots.
3. Establish the Roots: Water from above for approximately 2-3 weeks while roots grow toward the reservoir. Check soil moisture regularly during this period.
4. Begin Reservoir Watering: Fill the reservoir halfway initially. If the water level drops over the next few days, follow LECHUZA's instructions for filling to the maximum level.
5. Allow a Dry Phase: When the indicator reaches minimum, allow an appropriate dry phase before refilling, based on the plant's moisture requirements.

Outdoor Use: Remove the drainage screw to let excess rainwater escape. Watering frequency depends on plant type, temperature, sunlight, and weather conditions.
