Cougar Cub™ Ninebark is a compact deciduous shrub with bright yellow foliage and clusters of white flowers in spring, followed by ornamental fruit later in the season. Its neat, rounded habit makes it an excellent choice for adding color and form to landscapes. Physocarpus opulifolius ‘SueCKat’ USPP35764, CPBRAF offers seasonal interest from foliage through flowers in garden beds and borders.
This ninebark works well in mixed shrub beds, foundation plantings, and hedges where eye-catching foliage color and spring blooms are desired. Its compact size makes it suitable for smaller spaces as a standalone specimen or grouped with other shrubs.
Cougar Cub™ Ninebark Care
Plant Cougar Cub™ Ninebark in full sun (at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day) to support foliage color and flowering. Provide well-drained soil and water regularly while the plant establishes. Maintain even moisture during dry conditions for sustained performance.
