How the Self-Watering System Works

1. Prepare the Planter: Assemble the included self-watering components and add the supplied LECHUZA-PON drainage layer.
2. Add Your Plant: Place your plant in the removable liner with an appropriate growing medium.
3. Establish the Roots: Water from above for approximately 2-3 weeks, monitoring moisture while roots develop toward the reservoir.
4. Begin Reservoir Watering: Initially fill the reservoir halfway. If the level decreases as roots begin drawing water, follow LECHUZA's instructions for filling to maximum.
5. Monitor and Refill: Use the water level indicator and allow a plant-appropriate dry phase before refilling.

Placement & Drainage: Indoor use is recommended for preserving the premium painted finish. If used outdoors, choose a suitable sheltered location and remove the drainage screw so excess rainwater can escape. Watering frequency varies by plant and growing conditions.
