Delta Rectangular Planter

Add elegant greenery to narrow spaces with the LECHUZA DELTA Self-Watering Rectangular Planter. Its slim, gently rounded design and sophisticated premium finish make it perfect for windowsills, dining tables, desks, and sideboards. Available in two sizes, DELTA features a removable planting liner and an integrated self-watering system to make indoor plant care easier.

Why Choose LECHUZA DELTA?

• Slim, Space-Saving Design: A narrow rectangular shape fits beautifully on windowsills, shelves, desks, and other small surfaces.
• Premium Decorative Finish: Elegant glossy and metallic finishes complement contemporary indoor decor.
• Built-In Self-Watering System: An integrated reservoir helps provide moisture to established roots, reducing frequent watering.
• Removable Planting Liner: Easily lift out your arrangement for repotting, cleaning, and seasonal changes.
• Two Convenient Sizes: Choose the compact DELTA 10 or the larger DELTA 20 for more planting space.
• Water Level Indicator: Check the reservoir to help determine when additional water is needed.
• Lightweight & Durable: High-quality, shatterproof, UV-resistant plastic construction.
• LECHUZA-PON Included: Mineral substrate for the irrigation drainage layer is included.

DELTA Planter Size Comparison

Both sizes feature the same elegant shape and convenient self-watering system. DELTA 20 offers more room for roots and a larger water reservoir.

Measurements and capacities are approximate. Reservoir capacities are listed in liquid measurements. Both sizes are intended for indoor use.

Which DELTA Size Should You Choose?

• DELTA 10: Ideal for smaller houseplants, compact foliage, and miniature arrangements. Its narrow 4.3-inch width makes it an excellent choice for smaller windowsills, desks, and shelves.
• DELTA 20: Better for fuller arrangements or several small plants grouped together. The larger planting area and 4.7-inch planting depth offer greater flexibility.

Best Plants for DELTA Planters

DELTA works best with compact plants that have relatively shallow root systems. Popular choices include:

• Fittonia: Colorful patterned foliage that appreciates relatively consistent moisture.
• Small Peperomia: Compact decorative foliage for desks and bright indoor spaces.
• Baby Tears: Fine-textured greenery that creates a soft, full arrangement.
• Compact Ferns: Small varieties create lush indoor displays with proper humidity.
• Small Pothos: Trailing foliage can soften the edges of the rectangular planter.
• Miniature Flowering Plants: Small flowering varieties add seasonal color to indoor arrangements.

Planting Tip: DELTA 10 has only 3.4 inches of planting depth, so choose compact plants with small root balls. Avoid large perennials, shrubs, and other deep-rooted plants. When grouping plants, choose varieties with similar watering and light needs.

Removable Liner for Easy Planting

DELTA includes a removable planting liner that matches the decorative outer planter. Lift out your arrangement to repot plants, inspect roots, clean the container, or refresh your display with seasonal greenery.

How the Self-Watering System Works

1. Prepare the Planter: Add the included LECHUZA-PON drainage substrate and an appropriate growing medium following the instructions.
2. Add Your Plants: Place compact plants into the removable liner and gently fill around the roots.
3. Establish the Roots: Water from above during the first 2-3 weeks, checking the growing medium for moisture.
4. Use the Reservoir: Once the roots have established, initially fill the reservoir halfway. Follow LECHUZA's instructions for subsequent filling.
5. Monitor and Refill: Use the water level indicator and allow a plant-appropriate dry period before adding more water.

Indoor Use Only: DELTA does not include an outdoor overflow drainage plug. Keep it indoors and avoid overfilling the reservoir. Watering frequency depends on plant type, light, temperature, and growing conditions.
