Diamond Mountain Euphorbia Care
This euphorbia is adaptable and versatile in every corner of the landscape. It does well in a wide range of sunny to shady locations, requiring at least 4 to 6 hours of sunlight daily. It has average water needs. Soil needs to be moist and well-draining for best results, but once established no supplemental irrigation is needed. This plant can be trimmed anytime, but it is unnecessary. Flowers are self-cleaning and will rebloom profusely. Apply an annual application of compost or fertilizer in the garden beds and fertilize regularly when planted in containers.
Plants in the Euphorbia family have milky latex sap that may irritate the skin. Be cautious when handling euphorbia especially if sensitive skin or latex allergies are a concern. Diamond Mountain® Euphorbia is an annual grown outside in zones 9 and below. It is hardy to zones 10 to 11. This plant does not do well overwintering and dies after a hard frost.
Diamond Mountain Euphorbia Spacing
Space Diamond Mountain® Euphorbia 12 to 18 inches apart in both the landscape and container planting. Usually, the bigger container size is preferred. A pot 12 to 16 inches is adequate.
