The large double flowers of the Double Zahara™ Fire Zinnia will set your garden ablaze this summer. Botanically classified as Zinnia marylandica 'Double Zahara Fire', this stunning and award-winning zinnia produces non-fading scarlet-orange blooms from summer until the fall. This reliable and long-season zinnia grows from 16 to 20 inches tall.

In the right conditions, zinnias are wonderfully easy to grow. Loved by butterflies and hummingbirds, the Double Zahara™ Fire Zinnia has great disease resistance and grows pretty much trouble-free. Forming a dense mound of strong stems, this hot zinnia is ideal for beds, borders and containers.

Double Zahara™ Fire Zinnia Care

As a true sun lover, the Double Zahara™ Fire Zinnia wants as much sun as it can get. It prefers a fertile and free-draining soil and will benefit from a liquid feed every 2 to 3 weeks when blooming. Regular deadheading will help extend the flowering season. Even though it is drought tolerant, this zinnia benefits from regular watering to keep the soil moist where possible.

Zinnias are tender annual plants that die back with the first frost of winter. Cut back all spent growth in cold climates. Collect dried seeds after blooming and sow indoors, 4-6 weeks before last spring frost.

Double Zahara™ Fire Zinnia Spacing

The Double Zahara™ Fire Zinnia forms a mound 16 to 20 inches tall and wide. A plant spacing of 14 to 16 inches apart will allow the plants to knit together and make a big impact.
