The colors and textures of these three plants work together to create a lovely combination that will give your outdoor space plenty of style with minimal effort. The thin, wispy petals of the Diamond Frost®’s white flowers create a cloud-like look which provides contrast against the yellow-throated blue blooms of the Catalina® Midnight Blue Wishbone Flower. The Catalina® Gilded Grape™ Wishbone Flower has delicate buttery-yellow flowers with deep purple throats. The green serrated-edged foliage of the Wishbone Flowers fills in blank spaces between the blooms for a lush look.

Plant in a 10-inch container or use the plants separately as fillers in other containers. Each plant can be grown in its own pot and placed nearby for a similar effect. All three plants require partial to full sun, so find a spot that receives 4 to 6 hours of sunlight. These plants have average water needs and will generally need water a few times each week, depending on the conditions. Use rich soil with an acidic pH that allows water to drain through.

Deadhead the plants to promote more blooms and branching. If the plants appear leggy by midsummer, they can be trimmed back by ⅓ of their size. Use water-soluble plant food every 2 to 4 weeks during the growing season to support consistent growth.
