Best Locations For Growing Green Bean Peperomia

Green Bean Peperomia is a funky and fun houseplant that stays relatively compact and can go many places in the home or office. Choose a location with very bright light in a warm, relatively humid location to make this Peperomia thrive. It is non-toxic for pets or humans.

Green Bean Peperomia Sunlight Requirements

Green Bean Peperomia survives in a range of light conditions but prefers bright indirect light. This plant will not grow optimally with direct sun or too little sun.

Green Bean Peperomia Care

Green Bean is an easy semi-succulent houseplant. Use a cactus mix to ensure the plant is potted in well-drained soil. Like most semi-succulents, Green Bean Peperomia likes to be pot bound in a relatively small pot. Repot Green Bean Peperomia if the plant has been in the same soil for many seasons, or if the roots are protruding from the bottom of the pot. It is best to transplant Green Bean Peperomia when the plant is more dormant in the winter or early spring. Green Bean Peperomia can be pruned to keep the habit neat and tidy or to remove dead leaves or branches.

Watering Green Bean Peperomia

Green Bean Peperomia has finicky water needs; do not overwater or underwater this plant. Water regularly once a week allowing the soil to dry out between waterings. Green Bean Peperomia likes regular humidity throughout the year.

Feeding Green Bean Peperomia

Green Bean Peperomia does not require fertilizer but will benefit from a light feeding of a balanced formula once or twice a month. Do not fertilize during the winter when growth is slower.

    Not in good...

Posted by Mary CHANG on Dec 03, 2022

The plant arrived damaged—I think it got too cold so the leaves split and it is in such a tiny pot the plant is unable to stand upright and leans to one side. I am hoping I can nurse it back to life but am disappointed in my purchase.
