Gumball Goody™ Rose turns garden beds into a candy-colored display, mixing soft pink, deep pink, and sunny yellow blooms on a naturally rounded, compact shrub. The steady flush of flowers from spring into frost keeps color in play long after many perennials take a break.
Sized for borders and patio pots, this easy-care rose pairs cheerful hues with strong disease resistance, so you get more bloom time with less fuss. Plant a few along a path or drop one into a container for a playful, season-long accent.
Gumball Goody™ Rose Care
Give full sun for best flowering (6–8+ hours) and plant in well-drained soil, slightly acidic to neutral (pH ~6.0–7.0). Water deeply to establish, then soak when the top inch of soil is dry; avoid constantly wet roots. Mulch 2–3 inches to conserve moisture and keep foliage clean.
Feed in early spring with a slow-release rose fertilizer, then again lightly in midsummer. Prune in late winter or very early spring: remove dead or crossing canes, then shorten remaining stems by one-third to shape and encourage strong new growth. Light deadheading can speed up repeat bloom, though many flowers will self-clean. Generally hardy in USDA Zones 5–9.
Gumball Goody™ Rose Spacing
Matures about 2–3 ft tall and wide. For a low, colorful hedge, plant 18–24 inches on center; for mixed borders or as single accents, allow 30–36 inches for air flow and easy maintenance. Keep 18–24 inches back from paths or walls to prevent snagging.
In containers, use a 14–16"+ diameter pot with excellent drainage and position planters 18–24 inches apart so each shrub can fill out evenly.
