Rose Glow is a flashy caladium in bright pink with green edges and a white halo that expands over time. A great upright thriller in a pot coming in at about 20 inches high and 14 wide, Rose Glow will also make a standout accent or focal point in the garden, either alone or en masse.

An adaptable hybrid of Caladium hortulanum in the Heart to Heart series, Rose Glow is an easy-to-grow source of bold foliage and strong color for both sun and shade. When the weather turns frosty, it can keep you company over the winter inside as a houseplant until spring returns. A natural for frothy pink and white combinations, it looks especially dynamic paired with a host of variegated blue, lime, and cream hostas, who share the leaf shape and variegation.

Heart to Heart® Rose Glow Caladium Care

Caladiums are at their happiest outdoors when night temperatures stay over 50 degrees F. This will suggest that you want to wait to plant them outside until it is warm enough in your area. While they are heat tolerant, they prefer consistent moisture and humidity. When planting, place the tuber facing up about 2 inches below soil level. If you are planting plants, set them about ½ inch deeper than they were in their previous pot.

They are not heavy feeders and too much fertilizer can burn their leaves, so fertilize at ¼ -½ strength while outside, and about ¼ strength inside. Indoors, Rose Glow will thrive in a bright sunny spot that stays around 65 degrees F and be sure to keep soil consistently moist.

Note: Caladiums can be an irritant if ingested.

Heart to Heart® Rose Glow Caladium Spacing

We recommend spacing your Rose Glow about 10 to 14 inches apart for proper air circulation and room for the roots to grow.
