Mature Height

Mature Spread
The Heatmaster Tomato thrives as the temperature soars. This determinate hybrid grows well in hot climates and effortlessly handles warm weather. Medium-sized, oblong fruits have a firm skin and weigh about 7 ounces. The tomatoes are ideal for slicing. The Heatmaster Tomato is disease resistant for a worry-free harvest.
Heatmaster Tomato Care
Space plants 24 to 36 inches apart so air can flow around the foliage. Like most tomato plants, the Heatmaster Tomato must be staked. Plant in full sun using fertile, well-drained soil.
Growing Heatmaster Tomato
Tomatoes are ready to pick in 70 to 75 days. The plant grows 3 to 4 feet tall. Plant this tomato outdoors in the spring after there is no longer a threat of frost.
Grow Heatmaster in a container for placement on a deck or balcony. Water container-grown plants when the top one inch of potting mix is dry. Use a trellis or tomato cage to support the plant.
Watering Heatmaster Tomato
Water Heatmaster Tomato plants when the top inch of soil is dry. Water the soil around the plant and keep the foliage as dry as possible.
Feeding Heatmaster Tomato
The Heatmaster Tomato is a heavy feeder. Regular applications of veggie fertilizer will support an abundant harvest. Follow the instructions on the packaging when fertilizing the Heatmaster Tomato.
