The bright yellow daisy flowers of the High Noon Bush Daisy (Euryops pectinatus) contrasts nicely with the green foliage. This long blooming flower makes a statement in the landscape in mass plantings or as a landscape border. It can also be grown in a cut flower garden. This flower attracts many different types of pollinators to the garden.
This flower is drought and heat tolerant once established. It blooms from spring to the first frost. No deadheading is required to keep it in bloom. The bush daisy’s mounded growth habit means it can act as a filler in a container garden, although it should be paired with other spectacular plants or it will outshine them.
High Noon® Bush Daisy Care
Add a slow-release fertilizer when planting the bush daisy and it will thrive. The bush daisy requires regular watering until it is established, then is drought and heat tolerant. The soil can be of average fertility. The bush daisy does best in full sun. It will tolerate part sun.
The bush daisy is a perennial from South Africa. It makes a good plant for the southern United States because of its heat and drought tolerance.
High Noon® Bush Daisy Spacing
The bush daisy grows to 12-14 inches, so other lower spreading flowers can be planted in front of it. Allow room for it to spread 12-18 inches. Plant other plants at least 12-18 inches from the bush daisy.
