Invincible Tomato is a hybrid determinate Saladette type that produces loads of smooth, blemish-free, firm tomatoes. Early maturing, compact plants deliver a big flavor. It has a leafy canopy that protects the deep red, 3.5-ounce, uniform fruits from sun scald. This variety is heavy yielding, disease resistant, and fantastic for eating fresh off the vine, canning or making your favorite sauce.

Invincible Tomato Plant Care

Plant Invincible Tomato Plant in spring when nighttime temperatures are consistently above 55 degrees F and the soil temperature reaches 60 degrees F. Invincible Tomato is an early producing variety; it will reach maturity between 60-70 days. Select a spot to plant that receives 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily and a location to accommodate its mature height of 3-4 ft and spread 2-3 ft. Allow ample air circulation between plants, and be sure to water the plant's roots, watering deeply when the first few inches of soil become dry.

Growing Invincible Tomato Plant

Tomatoes are heavy feeders, so providing your planting beds or containers with soil rich in organic compost is essential to get them off to a great start. Ensure the soil is well amended and well draining. Allow plenty of space between plants for air circulation and at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily to maximize the size of fruit and yield.

Invincible Tomato will grow well in a suitable-sized container with an opening of at least 18 inches. Be sure the soil is rich in organic compost and the container has ample drainage holes to prevent exposure to root rot. This plant may require more frequent watering when grown in containers.

Watering Invincible Tomato Plant

Water tomato plants ideally in the morning, giving them a good deep soak that reaches the plant's roots. Deeper watering is preferred versus surface watering, and be sure to avoid watering the plant's foliage to prevent foliar diseases. As the temperatures increase, you may need to water more frequently.

Feeding Invincible Tomato Plant

Use a slow-release organic fertilizer specifically for tomatoes when first planting your tomato into the hole you dig; sprinkle a layer of soil in between the fertilizer and the plant's roots to prevent burning. Once you notice the flower's setting, you can apply a diluted liquid fertilizer specifically formulated for tomatoes to the roots of the plant every couple of weeks until it is finished producing.
