It's So You Container Garden is a beautiful combination of two Calibrachoa plants and a Petunia that is all about color. Orange, yellow, and red blooms make a bold statement and continue to bloom from spring through fall. Green foliage surrounds the plants and adds to the fullness of these mounding stunners.
The flowers attract pollinators, so these plants will be a busy spot for bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. As the temperature climbs, these plants will continue to look great because they are heat tolerant.
It's So You Container Garden Combo Care
Plant this Calibrachoa and Petunia trio in a 12- to 14-inch container. These plants can be used to fill in other containers or planted on their own to make a striking focal point. Place the plants in an area that receives partial to full sun and water when the top couple of inches of soil dry out. This is particularly important for Calibrachoas because they do not like to have wet feet. Soil should be acidic, have high organic content, and allow good drainage.
These plants will continue to bloom without much care, but pinch back spent flowers and cut the stems back if they start to appear leggy to maintain full and bushy plants. Apply a water-soluble fertilizer every 2 to 4 weeks to keep the flowers coming.
It's So You Container Garden Combo Ideas
Feature these plants in a large container for a bright and cheerful addition to an outdoor space. A hanging basket is a natural fit for these trailing plants, but regular containers are also a great choice. Calibrachoas are very well suited to containers, while Petunias are more versatile and can also be used as a groundcover or in borders or mass plantings.
