The 4-inch long peppers start as a vibrant shade of lime green and turn a deep red when they are ready to be picked. The peppers can be eaten raw, cooked, or canned. The upright plant is 10 to 12 inches tall and 10 inches wide. Upright growth habit and low maintenance plant. The hot red peppers measure 4 inches by 0.5 inches.

Kitchen Minis™ Hot Fajita Pepper Care

The Kitchen Minis™ Hot Fajita Pepper can be used as a patio centerpiece or functional decor on a balcony once the outdoor temperature is above 55 degrees. Hot pepper plants thrive in rich soil with a 6.0 to 6.8 pH. The soil should promote drainage so that the roots can dry out between watering.

Growing Kitchen Minis™ Hot Fajita Pepper

You will know the peppers are ready for harvesting when they are entirely red. It takes 95 to 110 days for the peppers to mature. The plants can be grown outdoors in a sunny spot when the temperature is consistently warm.

Growing Kitchen Minis™ Hot Fajita Peppers in Containers

The Kitchen Minis™ Hot Fajita Pepper is an upright plant, and the peppers hang down from the stems. Mature plants stand 10 to 12 inches tall and can comfortably live in 6- to 8-inch containers.

Watering Kitchen Minis™ Hot Fajita Pepper

Let the soil mostly dry out before giving the plant water. The top several inches should be dry before watering.

Feeding Kitchen Minis™ Hot Fajita Pepper

Hot pepper plants benefit from fertilizing using a balanced plant food with a ratio of 10-10-10 or something that has lower nitrogen, like 5-10-10. Fertilizer can be applied every 2 to 3 weeks.
