The medium River Rock Planter from Jay Scotts has a unique, organic shape inspired by water-tumbled river rocks. This planter has one main compartment but two separate openings so foliage can emerge from either hole. The single compartment allows the roots room to spread.
The fiberglass construction means this planter can be used indoors or outdoors. It will not rust, rot, or warp; it is UV resistant, so even when exposed to direct sunlight, it will not become brittle or fade. Choose from 18 available colors ranging from muted neutrals to vibrant hues, or create a custom color to match corporate branding or a particular design scheme. Custom color orders cannot be canceled or returned, and additional time and fees may apply.
Gardening With River Rock Planter (Medium)
The River Rock Planter is 16 inches by 10 inches by 6 inches, so it is a good size to display on a desk, reception counter, or tabletop. Create a lovely living centerpiece on a dining table or dress up a mantle.
Use the River Rock Planter with a compact ornamental grass or small sansevieria to contrast the planter's smooth organic curves with the spiky foliage of the plants. Plant Shipping
Below are some factors we consider when determining when to ship the plants depending on the timing of the order.
Winter to Early Spring
We ship only when it's warm enough to plant in your growing zone.
Sometimes plants aren't completely ready to sell and ship in early spring. We will wait until the plants are ready before shipping so you don't get a subpar product.
For Southern plants we will be able to ship much earlier than plants coming from our northern nursery.
Summer
If there is extreme heat we may delay shipping for a week or several weeks.
We review what areas the plants are traveling through as well as your location.
Fall into Winter
We’ll ship plants out all the way up to the end of the fall planting season!
Winter
Get your order in early to reserve your plants for Spring planting!
