Bring instant holiday color to any room with the pre-potted ‘Minerva’ amaryllis. The bulb arrives ready to grow, no soil or guesswork required, and produces large red flowers with crisp white centers that brighten mantels, tables, and windowsills. It’s a simple, gift-ready way to add festive cheer during the season, and availability is limited to the holidays.
‘Minerva’ performs beautifully indoors in bright, indirect light at typical room temperatures. Most kits bloom about six to eight weeks after arrival, and each flower display lasts for weeks. Set the pot where you can enjoy it, water lightly as the top inch of mix dries, and watch the stalks and buds develop. Rotating the pot every few days helps keep growth upright; a small stake can be added for support if needed.

-
Typical timing: 6–8 weeks to bloom, with flowers lasting 2–3 weeks

After the show, trim the spent flower stalk but leave the leaves in place so they can recharge the bulb. Continue watering when the top inch is dry and feed every two to three weeks with a balanced liquid fertilizer while foliage is green. In late fall, let the bulb rest by placing it in a cool, dark spot for eight to ten weeks with minimal water, then return it to bright light and resume normal care to start the next bloom cycle.
For gifting and display, slip the pot into a decorative cachepot or basket. Grouping two or three kits can create a centerpiece with staggered bloom times, and a ribbon or a few evergreen clippings add an easy, seasonal finish.
This is a natural product, so size and timing vary with the environment. Amaryllis is toxic if ingested, so keep plants out of reach of pets and small children.
FAQs
When will it bloom?
Most kits flower in about six to eight weeks, a little faster in warmer rooms and a little slower in cooler rooms.
How should I water?
Keep the mix slightly moist but never soggy. Overwatering is the most common cause of bulb rot.
Do I need to repot?
No repotting is needed for this season. The kit is ready to grow as it arrives.
Can it rebloom next year?
Yes. Follow the post-bloom care and rest period described above to recharge the bulb for another holiday display.
Is it safe for pets?
Amaryllis is toxic if eaten, especially the bulb. Display in a location pets and small children can’t access.
