The delicate appearance of the Pink Pearl Agastache provides a charming look and sets a relaxed tone in a landscape. Tall upright flower spikes are densely dotted with dark pink buds that open to reveal light pink flowers. The trumpet-shaped flowers of the Agastache 'Pink Pearl' have scalloped edges for subtle detail and a delicate texture. Enjoy the flowers from spring through the first heavy frost. Broad, medium green basal foliage gives the plant a lush and full presence.
Add the Pink Pearl Agastache to a border or mixed bed. This cultivar is more compact than other Agastache varieties, so it is better suited to the front or middle of a mixed bed and serves as a filler in a container. This beautiful perennial creates a stunning mass planting and thrives in hot, dry areas where other plants may struggle. This plant is a pollinator favorite and will attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds to a space.
Pink Pearl Agastache Care
Select a planting location that receives full sun. The Pink Pearl Agastache can handle rocky or low-quality soil as long as it drains well. New plants need consistent water while they develop a robust root system. Established plants are drought-tolerant, so they can handle dry conditions and a forgetful gardener, but will bloom more abundantly when watered during an extended dry period. This plant is not a heavy feeder and does not require fertilizer to grow well.
Pinch faded flowers to encourage the plant to set more blooms. Remove leggy growth as needed around mid-summer. Cut all growth to ground level in late winter or early spring.
Pink Pearl Agastache Spacing
The Pink Pearl Agastache has a compact growth habit and stands 16 inches tall and wide. Space plants 16 inches apart for a continuous mass planting.
