Peace Lilies are flowering plants with spectacular foliage. The Platinum Mist Spathiphyllum or Platinum Mist Peace Lily has fountain-like green leaves with silvery-white accents radiating from the midrib. The textured leaves have a gentle ripple and come to a point. When properly cared for, Mature Platinum Mist Spathiphyllum blooms from spring through fall. The tall spadix and spathe flowers stand on tall stems above the foliage. Peace Lilies are moderate growers that can stand several feet tall.
Best Locations For Growing Platinum Mist Spathiphyllum
The stately foliage of the Platinum Mist Spathiphyllum looks lovely in most areas of a home or office. Mature plants make wonderful floor plants. If possible, select a spot with increased sunlight and humidity. Avoid drafty areas near vents or exterior doors. The Platinum Mist Spathiphyllum is toxic to people and pets.
Platinum Mist Spathiphyllum Sunlight Requirements
Position the Platinum Mist Spathiphyllum in medium to bright, indirect sunlight. Increased sunlight helps the plant bloom and promotes a full, bushy form. Close to an east-facing window is often a good spot. Keep your Peace Lily out of direct sunlight to protect the leaves from sun scorch.
Platinum Mist Spathiphyllum Care
Peace Lilies like to be rootbound, but they need to be repotted into a larger container with fresh soil every one to two years. Large plants can be divided when repotting to expand your Peace Lily collection. The Platinum Mist Spathiphyllum prefers rich, acidic soil that is moist but drains.
Watering Platinum Mist Spathiphyllum
These plants have increased water needs and can sulk if you’re late with water, but they can recover. Water your Platinum Mist Spathiphyllum when the top one inch of potting soil is dry. If the plant is dehydrated, the leaves will go limp and flop over, but if you water immediately, it should bounce back. Keep the foliage dry when watering, and consider bottom watering your Peace Lily to prevent fungal infections on the leaves. The Platinum Mist Spathiphyllum needs average to above average humidity.
Feeding Platinum Mist Spathiphyllum
The Platinum Mist Spathiphyllum is a heavy feeder. Apply balanced, water-soluble fertilizer every two weeks during the spring and summer. Routinely fertilizing the plant promotes new growth and increases its chance of blooming. You do not need to fertilize Peace Lilies in the fall and winter.

Plant Addicts Warranty - 1 Year (Extra Purchase Required)
We encourage all plant lovers to purchase the Plant Addicts Warranty, whether you're a new gardener or an expert. There are many variables outside of anyone's control that can cause a plant to die. The Plant Addicts Warranty is a 1 year warranty protecting you from all of the unknowns and will replace your plant if something were to happen to it.
The warranty is purchased on a per plant basis and must be purchased at the same time as the plant(s). We will cover 100% of the price of the plant, but the warranty does not cover shipping costs. SImply let us know if your plant has died within 1 year of receiving it and we will get you a new one shipped out as soon as possible (depending on the time of the year and availability). Plant Shipping
Below are some factors we consider when determining when to ship the plants depending on the timing of the order.
Winter to Early Spring
We ship only when it's warm enough to plant in your growing zone.
Sometimes plants aren't completely ready to sell and ship in early spring. We will wait until the plants are ready before shipping so you don't get a subpar product.
For Southern plants we will be able to ship much earlier than plants coming from our northern nursery.
Summer
If there is extreme heat we may delay shipping for a week or several weeks.
We review what areas the plants are traveling through as well as your location.
Fall into Winter
We’ll ship plants out all the way up to the end of the fall planting season!
Winter
Get your order in early to reserve your plants for Spring planting!
Once your plant is shipped you’ll receive an automated email with tracking information.
