The only thing better than one Petunia is three, as is evident from the Pleasant Vista Container Garden. This trio features three Petunia hybrids so you can get your fill of the striking, trumpet-shaped blooms. The crisp white flowers of the Supertunia Vista® Snowdrift™ stand out against the brilliant pink and purple of the Supertunia Vista® Fuchsia and Supertunia Mini Vista® Indigo.
Flowers start to bloom in spring, and these annuals will continue to push out flowers until the first frost. The plants are heat tolerant, so they can handle the warm summer weather, and they require very little care to thrive.
Pleasant Vista Container Garden Combo Care
A 10-inch container is good for the Pleasant Vista Container Garden when using these annuals in a combination planting. Each Petunia can be used separately as a beautiful stand-alone planting or as part of other container plantings.
Petunias need part to full sun. Water when the top few inches of soil are dry to the touch. Plants grown in containers will need water more often, so plan to water potted plants several times a week. Use slightly acidic soil that has high organic content and allows drainage. Apply a water-soluble fertilizer every 2 to 4 weeks to promote consistent growth. These plants will continue to bloom without deadheading but remove spent flowers to encourage more growth and branching.
Pleasant Vista Container Garden Combo Ideas
Petunias will be the highlight of a container planting, especially if the pot is placed up high so the branches can hang down. You can also use these mounded plants in borders, landscapes, or mass plantings to add a burst of vibrant color. When planted in the ground, keep up with pruning to maintain a more compact growth habit.
