Variegated Vinca Vine brightens up green foliage and complements any color scheme. Its main feature is its stunning variegated leaves. It does produce small blue flowers, but it is insignificant compared to its foliage interest. Vinca Vine has a trailing habit of 8 to 12-inch spread that makes an impression all spring and summer long.
Vinca vine is a great go to plant that adds the final touch to a combination planter. It works great as a spiller when used in containers. It is self-cleaning, so no deadheading is needed. Native to Asia minor it is drought tolerant. You won’t catch deer nibbling on this plant either since it is deer resistant.

This is an easy to maintain vine. It requires part sun to full sun. Vinca vine requires moist, well-draining soil. Once established this plant can withstand drought. Shear it back in the spring to promote new growth. Apply regular fertilizer application in containers and apply compost or fertilizer annually in landscape beds.
Hardy to zones 7-11 it is perennial. From zones 6 and below it is an annual. The foliage and flowers last until frost hits. To overwinter, place vinca vine in a protected place indoors, near a south-facing window.
