How the Self-Watering System Works
- Prepare the Planter: Assemble the included irrigation components and add the LECHUZA-PON drainage substrate.
- Add Your Plants: Fill the removable planting liner with suitable growing medium and position your plants.
- Establish the Roots: Water from above for approximately 2-3 weeks, checking the growing medium as roots establish.
- Begin Reservoir Watering: Once roots are established, initially fill the reservoir halfway. Follow LECHUZA's instructions for subsequent filling.
- Monitor and Refill: Check the water level indicator and allow an appropriate dry phase before refilling according to your plant's needs.
Outdoor Use: Remove the drainage screw to allow excess rainwater to escape. Watering frequency varies with plant type, temperature, sunlight, and seasonal conditions.

Optional Rolling Coaster for QUADRO 43 & 50
Larger planters become heavy once filled with plants, growing medium, and water. Compatible LECHUZA rolling coasters are available for QUADRO LS 43 and 50. Their concealed rollers make repositioning easier on suitable smooth, level surfaces.
