These hard-to-find plants aren't just rare—they're guaranteed to be conversation starters and focal points in your home.  Each plant has foliage that is unique and showy in its own way. The plants look lovely together, but if you place them separately, they add charm and greenery throughout your home.

Best Locations For Growing Rare Houseplant Bundle

The Alocasia, Monstera, and Philodendrons in this bundle prefer a sunny spot with increased humidity. These plants grow readily in a kitchen or steamy bathroom but can also thrive in a living room, bedroom, or office. All the plants in the rare houseplant bundle are toxic to humans and animals. If you have young children or pets, be careful with Alocasia, Monstera, and Philodendrons.

Rare Houseplant Bundle Sunlight Requirements

Bright, indirect sunlight is best for the Alocasia Dragon, Monstera Peru, Philodendron Pink Princess, and Painted Lady. The Philodendrons are variegated and need increased sunlight to maintain their unique coloring. Choose a location near a window that faces east or west. The plants can live several feet from a south-facing window.

Rare Houseplant Bundle Care

Prune the plants to remove dead or damaged leaves. Repot when the plants show signs of being root-bound. Plan to repot every one to two years. Use a container measuring one to two inches larger as needed. All of these plants prefer rich, moist, well-drained potting soil.

Watering Rare Houseplant Bundle

The Alocasia has increased water needs, so plan to water the Alocasia Silver Dragon when the top one inch of potting soil is dry. The Monstera Peru, the Philodendron Pink Princess, and the Painted Lady need water when the top two inches of potting soil are dry. Feel the soil to determine the best time to water. Saturate the soil and remove runoff from the cover pot or saucer.

All of the plants in the rare houseplant bundle thrive in above-average humidity. The Philodendron Painted Lady and Philodendron Pink Princess are more forgiving and can handle average humidity, but thrive in damp air. The Alocasia Silver Dragon and Monstera Peru need high humidity. Group the plants together to create extra moisture in the air, or use a pebble tray or humidifier to boost ambient levels for these rare houseplants.

Feeding Rare Houseplant Bundle

Establish a regular fertilizing schedule to keep all of the plants in the rare houseplant bundle looking their best. All of these plants benefit from the same type of fertilizer applied at the same frequency. Use a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer every four weeks. Feed the plants during the spring and summer, but stop fertilizing during the fall and winter.

Plant Addicts Warranty - 1 Year (Extra Purchase Required)

We encourage all plant lovers to purchase the Plant Addicts Warranty, whether you're a new gardener or an expert. There are many variables outside of anyone's control that can cause a plant to die. Hungry animals, drought, poor soil conditions, over watering, diseases & pests are all good examples of what can cause plants to die. The Plant Addicts Warranty is a 1 year warranty protecting you from all of the unknowns and will replace your plant if something were to happen to it.

The warranty is purchased on a per plant basis and must be purchased at the same time as the plant(s). We will cover 100% of the price of the plant, but the warranty does not cover shipping costs. SImply let us know if your plant has died within 1 year of receiving it and we will get you a new one shipped out as soon as possible (depending on the time of the year and availability). We may ask for photos for documentation purposes, but we try to make the process as easy as possible.

Guarantee and Warranty

Plant Shipping

Below are some factors we consider when determining when to ship the plants depending on the timing of the order.

Winter to Early Spring

We ship only when it's warm enough to plant in your growing zone.
Sometimes plants aren't completely ready to sell and ship in early spring. We will wait until the plants are ready before shipping so you don't get a subpar product.
For Southern plants we will be able to ship much earlier than plants coming from our northern nursery.

Summer

If there is extreme heat we may delay shipping for a week or several weeks.
We review what areas the plants are traveling through as well as your location.

Fall into Winter

We’ll ship plants out all the way up to the end of the fall planting season!

Winter

Get your order in early to reserve your plants for Spring planting!

Once your plant is shipped you’ll receive an automated email with tracking information.
