Turn any room into a holiday showcase with our Red & White Trio Amaryllis. Three premium ‘Minerva’ bulbs arrive pre-planted in an 8-inch decorative container, ready to burst into bold red trumpets brushed with white in a star-shaped pattern. The bulbs grow 18 to 24 inches tall and about 8 to 12 inches wide, creating a statement centerpiece for mantels, dining tables, and entry consoles. This trio also makes a generous gift and doesn't ask the recipient to pot anything.
Best Locations For Growing Red and White Trio Amaryllis
Grow Red and White Trio Amaryllis on a mantel, dining table, kitchen island, entry console, office credenza, or bright windowsill. The red and white flowers pair easily with greenery, candles, and simple winter décor, so it can stand alone or slide into a decorative planter. Amaryllis is not suitable for homes where pets or children may chew plants, since the bulb and plant parts can be toxic if eaten.
Red and White Trio Amaryllis Sunlight Requirements
Red and White Trio Amaryllis grows best in bright light, such as near an east, west, or lightly filtered south-facing window. Give it several hours of natural light each day to help the stems stay upright and the buds develop well. Rotate the pot every few days as the stalks rise, since amaryllis leans toward the strongest light source.
Red and White Trio Amaryllis Care
Keep Red and White Trio Amaryllis in its pre-potted container, festive foil, and moss topping for display, but check that water is not collecting inside the sleeve. Add a slim stake if the tall stems begin to lean under the weight of open flowers. Remove individual blooms as they fade, then cut the finished flower stalk 1 to 2 inches above the bulb once that stem is done. After bloom, keep the leaves growing if you plan to save the bulbs for another year.
Watering Red and White Trio Amaryllis
Water lightly when the top half of the soil feels dry, adding enough to moisten the mix without leaving it saturated. It is best to keep water out of the bulb neck to help prevent rot. Average indoor humidity is fine.
Feeding Red and White Trio Amaryllis
No fertilizer is needed during the first bloom cycle because the bulbs already contain the energy needed to flower. If saving the bulbs after the holidays, feed during active leaf growth with a diluted houseplant fertilizer so they can rebuild strength before dormancy. Continue light watering as the bulbs recharge.
