This fast-growing vine adds a splash of color and tropical charm to any indoor space. Its ability to thrive in various lighting conditions makes it an excellent choice for both homes and workplaces. Not only does it enhance aesthetics, but it also acts as an air purifier, improving air quality. Easy to care for and versatile in display options, the Regina Red Arrowhead Vine is perfect for plant enthusiasts of all levels.
Best Locations For Growing Regina Red Arrowhead Vine
The Regina Red Arrowhead Vine is ideal for living rooms, offices, or bedrooms where it can receive bright indirect light. Its lush foliage brings a touch of nature to workspaces and home interiors. Keep in mind that all parts of this plant contain calcium oxalate crystals, making it toxic to pets and children if ingested. It's advisable to place it out of reach to ensure safety.
Regina Red Arrowhead Vine Sunlight Requirements
This plant thrives in bright indirect light but can tolerate medium light conditions. Place it near an east or north-facing window where it receives filtered sunlight. Avoid direct midday sun, as it can scorch the leaves and fade their color.
Regina Red Arrowhead Vine Care
Plant in a well-draining aroid mix composed of equal parts indoor potting soil, perlite, and orchid bark. The Regina Red Arrowhead Vine can be trained to climb a pole, cascade from a hanging basket, or pruned to maintain a compact shape. Repot every two years or when the plant outgrows its container. Regular pruning encourages bushier growth and prevents legginess.
Watering Regina Red Arrowhead Vine
Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil feel dry to the touch, typically every 7–10 days depending on the environment. Overwatering can cause leaves to become mushy and drop, so ensure the soil isn't waterlogged. While the plant doesn't require high humidity, it prefers moderate levels and can benefit from occasional misting.
Feeding Regina Red Arrowhead Vine
Feed monthly during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half or quarter strength. This supports its rapid growth and vibrant foliage. Reduce feeding during fall and winter when growth naturally slows.

Plant Shipping
Below are some factors we consider when determining when to ship the plants depending on the timing of the order.
Winter to Early Spring
We ship only when it's warm enough to plant in your growing zone.

For Southern plants we will be able to ship much earlier than plants coming from our northern nursery.
Summer
If there is extreme heat we may delay shipping for a week or several weeks.
We review what areas the plants are traveling through as well as your location.
Fall into Winter
We’ll ship plants out all the way up to the end of the fall planting season!
