Rockapulco® Orange Impatiens Care

This is a great plant for the shade and it can take as little as 4 hours of sunlight daily. Trim back any time to keep the shape compact and promote more branching but it is not necessary. Plant in soil that is well-draining and organically rich, to promote consistent moisture. To lock in the moisture, topdress soil with 2 inches of mulch in the landscape. Container plants tend to need more frequent fertilizing, so apply a slow-release fertilizer or compost at initial planting and supplement fertilizing when needed.

Rockapulco® Orange Double are outdoor annuals in zones 9 and below. These plants cannot tolerate frost. Typically overwintering indoors is not recommended.

Rockapulco® Orange Impatiens Spacing

Give Impatiens Rockapulco Orange a 10 to 12-inch space between plants in the landscape. In containers, space plants at least 6 inches apart. Use at least a 12-inch hanging basket or 14-inch pot when planting in containers for maximum results.
