Sedum Album is a group of hardy, herbaceous, perennial succulents native to North Africa, West Asia, Siberia, and Europe. This type of succulent has densely packed and brightly colored leaves, giving one type of Sedum Album the nickname ‘Coral Carpet’. New growth comes in as coral pink and matures to a dark green. This plant produces clusters of small, star-shaped, white flowers that appear in early surmer.

When grown indoors, Sedum Album will need to live in your home’s brightest location. If you have a south-facing windowsill, this plant will thrive there. 

Sedum Album Sunlight Requirements

For best results, provide Sedum Album with very bright light. Placement near a south-facing window is ideal but a bright west- or east-facing window will work well also.

Sedum Album Care

This plant likes well-draining soil such as a cactus and succulent blend, but is highly adaptable to other soils. Choose a clay pot with drainage holes that will let excess moisture escape. This plant can be a vigorous grower, so prune as needed to maintain the desired size and shape. Repotting this plant might be necessary as often as once per year.
