A well-drained soil specifically for cactus or succulents should be used. Plant String of Dolphins in a pot slightly larger than the rootball and with drainage holes. Propagate this plant by removing a healthy stem at the base of the mother plant. Prune with clean shears and make sharp cuts. Remove any dead or decayed foliage as necessary.
