Striped German Tomato Plant

The Striped German Tomato Plant is an heirloom variety. Large beefsteak tomatoes are 1 to 2 pounds and feature alternating red and yellow spots even once mature. The large tomatoes have a mild fruity flavor and grow on large, upright plants. This plant is indeterminate and will continue to produce tomatoes until the weather turns cold.

Space plants 3 feet apart so the branches can spread out, and select a site in full sun. These tomatoes prefer slightly acidic soil with a high organic content and good drainage.
