Dipladenia offers the tropical punch and beauty of mandevillas in a compact plant versus a climber needing support. Sundenia Coral’s flowers are a fiery combo of magenta and mango that combine to read as a dreamy high-voltage coral on glossy green foliage. It brings the bloom all summer through frost, repeating continuously without deadheading. An easy-care plant.
Sundenia Coral makes a bundle of color in an upright mound about 12- 24 inches high and perhaps 18 inches wide. It’s a unique thriller for sunny containers, anywhere from focal point planters to window boxes.
Sundenia® Coral Dipladenia Care
Sundenia will thrive in average soil, and really appreciates good drainage in full sun. They do their best growing in the heat, preferring the nighttime temperatures not go below 65 degrees F.
Water well but allow the top few inches to dry between waterings. Pinching back to spur fuller growth can be done at any time. For fertilizing, a slow-release at planting can be followed with regular applications of liquid fertilizer according to directions for optimal performance.
Sundenia® Coral Dipladenia Spacing
In the landscape, budget about two feet across for each Sundenia Coral. In containers, you can go 12-18 inches to achieve a fuller effect.
