Big, bright pink flowers fill SunPatiens Compact Neon Pink Impatiens from spring planting until the first frost hits in fall. The large, neon pink blooms appear above deep green, long foliage on a mounding plant. The annual grows to 16 to 30 inches high each season and can spread up to 20 inches. It adds plenty of bright pink color to containers, garden beds, or nearly anywhere in the landscape.

Getting this much flower power is simple with this easy-care annual. There is no need to deadhead the flowers after they fade. The impatiens keep producing new blooms all growing season. Use it as a filler in a container or feature it in a garden bed in front of taller flowering plants or shrubs. It’s a fun and simple way to fill blank spots in beds or complement foliage or flowers in containers.

SunPatiens® Compact Neon Pink Impatiens Care

Be sure to wait to plant SunPatiens Compact Neon Pink Impatiens until there is no more chance for spring frost. Give the plant fertile soil that drains well and has compost or other organic matter. If planting in a container, new, general-purpose potting mix will suit the plant fine. If the mix has slow-release fertilizer in it, you won’t need to fertilize at planting. After that, fertilize a few times during the growing season, especially if growing the plant in a container.

Water impatiens plants regularly. Container-grown impatiens dry out faster than those grown in beds. Peak heat and full sun also can dry the plant out more quickly, so watch for conditions and soil moisture when deciding whether to water. There is no need to prune or deadhead your impatiens. Once planted, it needs only watering and occasional fertilizing.

SunPatiens® Compact Neon Pink Impatiens Spacing

Space SunPatiens 8 to 12 inches apart so they have room to grow. Choose closer spacing if you want the plants to grow a little taller, and space them further apart for a more mounded appearance.
