This stunning mix includes Impatiens 'Compact Electric Orange', 'Compact Hot Pink' and 'Compact Red’; these annuals are easy to grow and will flower from late spring until the fall. The compact stems grow to a maximum of 24 inches.

Good disease resistance and heat tolerance make these impatiens a surefire winner for summer interest. Fireball Impatiens are perfect for summer bedding, whether you grow them in a hanging basket, container, or the front of a border. These plants are winter hardy in zones 10 and 11.

SunPatiens® Fireball Impatiens Care

This SunPatiens® Fireball Impatiens combo thrives in both full sun and partial shade. Its favorite growing medium is fertile, well-drained soil that is slightly acidic. Regular irrigation is required to keep the soil moist, especially over the hotter months. Feed with either a slow-release or liquid all-purpose fertilizer to encourage the best blooms. Any leggy growth can be cut back by one-third to promote new growth.

When grown as an annual, the SunPatiens® Fireball Impatiens combo will flower until the first frost of winter. Outside zones 10 and 11, bring the plants indoors to overwinter or discard at the end of the season.

SunPatiens® Fireball Impatiens Spacing

In the right conditions, the SunPatiens® Fireball Impatiens will grow to around 24 inches tall and wide. Depending on the desired effect you can space this plant around 18 to 24 inches apart.
