The saturated flower colors of the SunPatiens® Tropical Punch Impatiens lend a resort-like vibe to a space. The collection includes an Impatiens hawkeri Lilac, Rose Glow, and Tiki Torch. The flowers bloom in deep shades of pink, orange, and magenta. The flowers have broad and narrow petals that coordinate while also providing contrast and adding to the visual interest. Enjoy the flowers from late spring through fall. Glossy, dark green foliage with pronounced serrated edges complements the lovely blooms.

These Impatiens' mounded growth habit makes them an excellent choice for containers and window boxes. Add these beauties to a border or mixed bed, or create a dazzling mass planting. The colorful flowers of the SunPatiens® Candylicious Impatiens complement one another, elevating the look of a porch, patio, or entryway. Pollinators frequent the blooms. These plants are disease resistant to ensure robust growth all season.

SunPatiens® Tropical Punch Impatiens Care

Full sun is ideal for Impatiens and encourages a full flush of flowers. Soil with a high organic content and a slightly acidic pH is best. Use moist and well-drained soil because Impatiens do not like wet feet. Water when the soil is dry. Landscape plants often need water weekly, while container plants may need water daily. Routine doses of fertilizer help the plant thrive.

Remove faded flowers to maintain a tidy appearance, although deadheading is not required. Prune the plants by one-third if they appear overgrown and straggly. Mid-summer is usually a good time to give Impatiens a rejuvenating trim.

SunPatiens® Tropical Punch Impatiens Spacing

The SunPatiens® Tropical Punch Impatiens grow 24 inches tall and wide. Space plants 24 inches apart for a dense mass planting or feature three plants in a 16-inch wide container.
