Mature Height

Mature Spread
Add some cheerfulness to your space with Superbells® Cherry Red calibrachoa. You will have a continuous profusion of bold blooms from spring through fall. The plant grows to a height of 6-12 inches with a mounding, compact habit. It trails up to 24 inches. The flowers of this low-maintenance plant look like little petunias.
Superbells Cherry Red tolerates heat; it will attract hummingbirds to the garden. Use it as a spiller in containers, hanging baskets, and window boxes. It makes a stunning splash of color in a mass planting. Calibrachoa loves raised beds because it does not like wet feet. Add a fabulous punch of cherry red in a combination container by planting it with pink verbena and white angelonia.
Superbells Cherry Red Calibrachoa Care
Fertilize containers with a well-balanced, water-soluble solution (24-12-17). Add organic matter, in the form of compost, to garden beds. Water them when the top of the soil is dry. If your garden soil is not well drained even after adding plenty of compost, grow them in a container. Your calibrachoa will thrive in light shade to full sun.
There is no need to deadhead these calibrachoa, but you may want to trim them all over with scissors when they become leggy, near the end of the season. They will provide great fall interest.
Superbells Cherry Red Calibrachoa Spacing
Space them 8-12 inches in a border. But remember they prefer a container unless the soil is well drained. You can plant them about 6 inches from other plants in a container.
