Superbells® Hollywood Star Calibrachoa sure shines bright in the limelight! Perfect for taking center stage in combination plantings, Superbells® Hollywood Star dazzles with vibrant pink and yellow flowers that cover the entire plant all season long. The yellow center of the flower looks like a star shining amidst the bright rose pink petals. Plus, hummingbirds find the beauty of Superbells® Hollywood Star just as appealing as humans! If you enjoy watching hummingbirds visit your garden, you’re in for a real treat.
Calibrachoa are a favorite container plant because they have a mounding and trailing habit that looks spectacular on its own or in combination with other plants. They are perfect in mono-hanging plants, as well. Use them as a brilliant “spiller” in combination plantings to add bright color and softly trailing texture.
Superbells® Hollywood Star Calibrachoa Care
Calibrachoa varieties of all kinds really don’t like to have their feet wet! Grow your Superbells® Hollywood Star in well-draining soil and take care not to over water them. Water only when the top inch of soil is dry. Plant your Superbells® in a location that gets at least four hours of sunlight to see the strongest performance. Fertilize regularly with a well-balanced fertilizer, and avoid treatments that can change the pH of your soil.
Superbells® Hollywood Star will bloom consistently and constantly all season long without deadheading. While trimming is not necessary upon planting or any time throughout the season, a little trim can encourage fuller growth and even more blooms. If you have a long summer season, you may need to trim your plant to keep the plant tidy and full.
Superbells® Hollywood Star Calibrachoa Spacing
Superbells® Hollywood Star Calibrachoa can trail up to 30” long and spread up to 24”. However, they look best when planted 8-12” apart. They look fabulous planted with or without other varieties.
