Superbells Miss Lilac calibrachoa is a fabulous light-purple variety of the beloved annual. Superbells calibrachoa are famous for their long-lasting cascades of prolific blooms. Miss Lilac is no different, with purple flowers that cover the plant from planting until hard frost. Many gardeners will see their Calibrachoas last well into the fall, bringing much-needed cheerful color to your space in the autumn.

The trailing, mounded growth habit of calibrachoa makes it the perfect container plant for sunny sites. Utilize it on its own in hanging baskets and enjoy the soft cascade of lilac blooms over the sides of the basket. Or pair with a more upright annual and allow Miss Lilac to steal the show as a thrilling, filling spiller. The lush growth and abundance of flowers allows calibrachoa like Miss Lilac to act as thriller, filler, and spiller!

Superbells® Miss Lilac Calibrachoa Care

Calibrachoa need well-draining soil, so many gardeners do best with them in containers and a well-draining soil medium. Only plant in the ground if you have well-draining soil that will not get over watered. You may want to avoid growing calibrachoa if you live in a wet climate. Make sure the plant gets at least 4 hours of sunlight per day. Fertilize regularly for optimal performance.

No deadheading is necessary to keep the purple blooms coming. Give your Calibrachoa a light trim at the end of the season if it starts to look open, droopy or tired. This will encourage new, vibrant growth and blooms.
